Val is a visual identity designer based in Sofia. He started Hival because he believes the brands people build deserve to look like they mean it.

It started with scribbles in the margins of geography

notebooks — an obsession with making things look right that never really went away. That led to design school, an RSA Moving Pictures Award, and eventually a practice built around one idea: that a brand's visual language should do the talking for the people behind it.

The work is careful. The process is collaborative. And when the job calls for it, the right people get brought in.
